6. Legal warranties
The seller is bound by the legal guarantee of conformity (art. L217-3 et seq. of the French Consumer Code) and the warranty against hidden defects (art. 1641 et seq. of the French Civil Code).
The consumer has two years from delivery of the goods to invoke the legal guarantee of conformity if a lack of conformity appears. During this period, the consumer only needs to prove the existence of the lack of conformity, not the date it appeared. The legal guarantee of conformity entitles the consumer to have the goods repaired or replaced within thirty days of the request, free of charge and without major inconvenience. If the goods cannot be repaired or replaced, or if bringing them into conformity is refused, the consumer may obtain a price reduction or termination of the contract. The consumer may also benefit from the warranty against hidden defects (art. 1641 to 1649 of the French Civil Code) for two years from discovery of the defect.
7. Personal data
